It’s Official! We’re an MQG!

The VTMQG is now an official Modern Quilt Guild.

Members who have paid their 2015 dues should have received an email from the MQG in early December with an invitation to sign up on their site for access to all the advantages that being a member entails, including webinars, quilt of the month patterns, and other goodies.

Meeting Date Changes

Based on our poll and a review of conflicts with holidays throughout the year, our monthly business meetings will now be held on the second Sunday of each month.

Our next meeting is Sunday, January 11. Don’t forget to make your quilted name tag! Need some inspiration? Pinterest has plenty, or do a web search for quilt guild nametags.

We’re also going to exchange scrap bags, so if you’re interested, bring a gallon-sized plastic bag of scraps. Be kind to your fellow members—try to include a variety of sizes with nothing super small.
