1:00pm – 4:00pm
______________________________________________
– Class size: 12 students
– Cost: $10 members, $20 non-members
– Location: 1% for the Planet Offices,  47 Maple St #111 Burlington. Meter parking is free on Sundays!
About the Workshop: Join VTMQG’s Jenny Sullivan for an afternoon of Foundation Paper Piecing! Learn to create pointy points and very straight lines, giving quilt blocks an accuracy that is very rewarding. During this workshop, participants will sew two basic blocks, reviewing steps and best practices to achieve success. Participants will then build upon those skills, by choosing more complicated blocks to work on independently, becoming more familiar with the process while help is close at hand.
– Supplies: Pre-printed paper piece patterns and use of “Add A Quarter Rulers” will be provided. Fabric requirements are very minimal, and is a perfect time to use up those scraps! Participants should bring at least 4 fabric pieces over 5″ x 5″, sewing machine, thread and fabric. Irons + ironing boards + rotary mats will be available. If you would like to have your own cutting and/or ironing station, space will be available for you to bring your own. Detailed supply list sent after workshop sign-up.
Workshop is limited to 12 students. Spots will be filled in the order received. Check or paypal payment options. More information upon sign up.
