Anne is a prolific artist specializing in unique art quilts. Among her many styles and techniques she draws heavily on her use and knowledge of thread  A master machine quilter, she is equally adept at hand stitching. Paula Kovarik, one of her mentors, uses a technique of following the thread and ‘reacting’ to the negative space. Anne loves to incorporate machine and hand stitching in the same piece, always with surprisingly wonderful results. She will share some of her thread secrets and encourage us to be bold and experiment.

Living in Vermont and inspired by the natural world, Anne finds inspiration while bicycling, kayaking and traveling beyond the state lines. Anne is known in the region for teaching at Vermont Quilt Festival, guild workshops and quilt shops. Her ribbon winning quilts have been at many quilt shows for a couple of decades. Annes work is in private collections nationally, many pieces by commissions. She is an Artist In Residence in a St Albans VT gallery and vends at arts events around the state. Visit her website for more info.
